My work connects engineering concepts with product development, manufacturing requirements and operational delivery.

As a founder of R2E, I work across technical development and operations, bringing engineering priorities together with the commercial and practical requirements of the business. I work with manufacturing and commercial colleagues to progress development and prepare systems for their intended applications.

For me, technical leadership means asking the questions that determine whether a product can succeed beyond the design stage: how it performs, how reliably it can be manufactured, how it will be installed and how it will be maintained.

I value clear specifications, useful test evidence and direct communication between the people designing a system and those responsible for building and operating it.
